After our stay in Lviv in Western Ukraine, we traveled to Poland and spent a couple of days in Lublin, just 45 kilometers from the border with Ukraine. On our way to Lublin we visited the memorial of the former Nazi German extermination camp Belzec and the former concentration camp Trawniki. During our stay in Lublin we have visited numerous heritage and memory sites, mainly focusing on the memory of the Jewish past and the Second World War. You can read more about our observations on these pages of  the research projects focusing on the Jewish heritage of Lublin.
